Testing of  Election Tabulators

Election tabulators that will be used for Advance Processing, at the designated Central Tabulation Facility and on April 8, 2025 for the Annual Town Election will be tested beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday March 29, 2025 until 4:00 pm in the Highland Room at Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02492, and continuing as needed beginning on Monday March 31, 2025 at 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, in the Powers Hall at Town Hall, and continuing daily from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, in the Powers Hall at Town Hall, until finished . Interested members of the public may view the testing.

Advance Ballot Processing

Notice is hereby given that there will be advance removal and advance depositing of Annual Town Election early vote and absentee ballots received by the Town Clerk’s  Office prior to Election Day, beginning Monday March 31, 2025 at 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm and continuing on April 1, April 2, and April 3, 2025 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, continuing on Friday April 4, 2025 from10:00 am until 12:00 noon, and continuing on Monday April 7, 2025 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

Advance removal and depositing will take place in the Powers Hall at the Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02492 on March 31 and April 1 through April 4.  Advance removal and depositing will take place in the Select Board Chamber at the Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02492 on April 7, 2025. 

There may be additional hours on Saturday April 5, 2025 and Sunday April 6, 2025, depending on the volume of early and absentee voting.  Notice will be duly posted as required by State law.

The advance processing of early and absentee ballots is open to viewing by the public.

Central Tabulation Facility

In accordance with State law, the Town Clerk has designated the Select Board Chamber as the Town's Central Tabulation Facility.  The Central Tabulation Facility will operate from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday April 8, 2025.  Members of the public may view the operation of the Central Tabulation Facility.
