  1. Library Playdate with Librarian Paula **Registration Required**

    A program for children ages 3-5 with songs, fingerplays and simple games done visually over Zoom. Have fun with Librarian Paula and learn at the same time! *Using fingerplays, songs and rhymes helps children learn language by increasing vocabulary, learning the sounds of words and hearing the rhythm of language. Children can also gain large and small motor skills by performing movements required in fingerplays.* Registration closes at 9pm the day before the event for us to make sure everyone gets a link.   2. Virtual Paint Afternoon for Tweens and Teens (Ages 10 - 16) *Registration Required*

    Register and participate in a Virtual Paint afternoon. Paint a fantastical masterpiece of your own with Needham Library's friendly circulation assistant, Chelsea Brown! Limited to the first 28 participants, wait list if necessary Registration closes at 9pm the week before the event on Monday, August 10th for us to make sure everyone gets a link and their materials on time. If there is space and you are interested in attending after registration closes, please email neeya@ and we can see what we can do. *This will be a ZOOM Virtual Program, participants must have access to internet and Zoom to participate. Participants must be able to attend for full program length (2 hours) and pickup materials in a timely manor. Materials will be supplied to registrants in a Curbside Pickup Canvas Kit (Canvas, Paints, and Paintbrushes included - you will need a water cup and paper towels).
