DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS
School Department
The Needham School Committee will hold a public auction on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM to dispose of surplus computer equipment from the Information Technology Center, 120 Broadmeadow Road, Needham, MA 02492.
Items for sale will be available for inspection on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM, at 120 Broadmeadow Road, Needham MA 02492. Items will not be sold during this inspection preview period. All potential purchasers are invited, but not required, to attend the preview inspection. Potential purchasers should meet in the front lobby of the school, to register as visitors.
Rules for the auction will be distributed. All bids must be accompanied by a signed non-collusion form. All items must be taken off the premises at the end of the auction and purchaser bears all cost for removal. The list of items for disposal includes, but is not limited to: Computers, LCD Projectors, and Network Switches. A listing of disposal items also available for review from the Office of the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations, 1330 Highland Avenue, Needham MA 02492. Some items may be disposed of internally to Town of Needham government offices, and may not be available for sale at public auction.
The Needham Public Schools reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any and all bids, if the Committee determines that cancellation or rejection is in the best interests of the District.
