The next session of the "Connections: Cops & Community" series set for Tuesday, April 5th has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 17th. Because of the scheduling change, the third session will be held in June, date forthcoming. Please also note that the May 17th session will be held as a hybrid session, with the in-person event taking place in Powers Hall at Town Hall, not the Center at the Heights. The meeting will be held from 7 – 8:30 pm.
The May 17th session will focus on the Needham Police Department’s philosophy, partnerships and approach to working with youth.
After a presentation, there will be opportunities for small group discussions. These conversations are intended to create and foster meaningful relationships and dialogue. If you are able to join in-person, we strongly encourage you to do so. Masks are welcomed but not required. To reach the greatest number of participants, the Town is adding a hybrid component for May 17th. Attendees will be able to participate remotely via Zoom. When we transition into small group discussions, all remote participants will be in one discussion group on Zoom. We will not be able to break remote participants into smaller groups. The session will also be livestreamed online and via cable on the Needham Channel and a recording will be available after the event.
