[ARCHIVED] Needham July 4th Update

Needham July 4th Update
The Town of Needham is excited to once again partner with the Needham Exchange Club to celebrate Independence Day with a 4th of July parade to be held the morning of Monday, July 5, 2021. After thoughtful consideration, the Exchange Club of Needham and the Town have mutually agreed to postpone our traditional July 4th fireworks display until July 2022. A successful event requires months of planning, fundraising, and coordination. Due to the shortened time frame leading up to this year’s celebration, we have agreed to focus our collective efforts on the 2021 parade and looking forward to bringing fireworks back to Needham in 2022.
In addition to the parade, Needham residents are once again encouraged to show their patriotism and decorate the exterior of their houses as part of the Exchange Club’s Second Annual 4th of July House Decorating Contest. Community members can register their houses by July 3rd for consideration in the judging. More information can be found on the Exchange Club’s website
We look forward to seeing everyone on July 5th!
