06/01/2020 - Summer Aquatic Programs:

It is with deep regret that we inform you that, after extended meetings and conversations, we have concluded that we must cancel all our aquatic-based programs. This includes Sharks Swim Team, Swim Lessons & Sunset Yoga. We understand this is a great disappointment to everyone but probably not unexpected.

The Town of Needham’s Park & Recreation Department is driven by the safety of our members, patrons, residents, and staff. COVID-19 is creating so much uncertainty throughout our country and our region, we cannot in good conscience take even a small chance that you or your family members could become exposed to this virus. Our aquatic-based programs cannot ensure enough physical distancing and we have made the difficult decision to cancel.

For those that are already registered for aquatics programming this summer, you were emailed directly with the options for withdrawing from these programs. If you have any questions about your specific registration, please email
