Volunteering
Volunteer at the Library
The Needham Free Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for people who wish to offer their services to the Library in a constructive and meaningful manner. A commitment of 30 to 60 hours of community service is a requirement for graduation from Needham High School; flexible scheduling of volunteer hours may be available.
Working adults, retirees, members of local and nationwide groups, and senior citizens in the tax work-off program have offered their services to the Library in the past. Duties include shelving materials, replacing barcodes, and straightening books and cleaning shelves.
