Project V.A.N. (Volunteers Around Needham) provides youth ages 13-17 (or entering 8^th grade) with the opportunity to participate in one-day community service projects around the Needham community. Project VAN began during the summer of 1998 at six sites and has grown larger since then. Project VAN is generously funded by the Needham Community Council.

Each Project VAN day includes an orientation to the organization’s mission before getting to work with activities such as socializing with residents at senior living facilities, cleaning out storage areas, playing with youth and more! Lunch is provided daily. A typical days runs from 10am-2:30pm

                                                   Project VAN 2013

                      Project VAN 2013 will be running on the following dates:
                                        July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25

Youth may register for one, a few or all days. In order to accommodate as many youth as possible, some participants may not be able to attend all the dates for which they initially register.

           Registration for Project VAN 2013 opens on May 1st.
