Voter Registration Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and a United States Citizen. Registration at Town Clerk's Office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and some second and fourth Tuesday evenings 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Special evening registrations of Registrars held preceding elections
Where and How to Register to Vote
You must be a U.S. Citizen; be a Massachusetts resident; and be at least 18 years old on or before the next election. Voter registration forms are available at the Town Clerk's Office, various designated state agencies, the Registry of Motor Vehicles, or use a mail-in voter registration form. To request a mail-in voter registration form, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 781-455-7500 ext 216, 217, 218, 219, and 252 or go to Elections Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

New Emergency regulations have been filed by the Secretary of the Commonwealth to allow the mail-in voter registration form to be available on-line! Go to website below which contains the forms which are available as fillable pdf’s in English, Spanish and Chinese. Applicants can complete the forms on their computer, but will still have to print and sign and return to your local Town Clerk's Office.

Registration Deadlines
You must register to vote at least 20 days before state primaries, state elections, and city and town elections. Special Registration sessions are printed in the local newspaper. The last day to register to vote and to change party enrollment for the November 6, 2012 State Election and Special Town Election is Wednesday, October, 17, 2012. The last day to register to vote and to change party enrollment for the Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Annual Town Election is Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
There will be a special voter registration session at the Town Clerk's Office from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.on the last day to register before each election.
