Large House Review Study Committee June 1 Mtg
On June 1, 2016, the Large House Review Study Committee held a Town Wide Community Meeting to discuss the construction of new homes within existing Needham neighborhoods and how that trend should best be managed moving forward. The meeting was one in a series of planned meetings, leading to the development of a regulatory approach to guide the future growth and evolution of Needham's residential neighborhoods. The goal is to develop a program which accommodates current land use needs and protects private property rights while at the same time strengthening the quality of life in Needham and protecting valued community resources.

The materials below were available at the meeting.

Please note the Questionnaire in particular.  (for easier electronic access - here is a Word Document version.) The Questionnaire was due back to the Planning Department by July 1, 2016. Please see the tabulated RESULTS of the Questionnaire, as well as the Results Addendum: Relative Support for Committee Options by Length of Residency.
