The Department of Public Works has checked the condition of all fields, and the following decisions have been made:
Memorial Park 90' diamond is CLOSED. All other summer fields are OPEN.
Information is sent out when available - register your e-mail or cell for instant messages at NOTIFY ME Field Status.
If it begins to rain after 3:00 pm and the fields are OPEN, league officials will make the decision on whether fields will remain open or not. No field (including synthetic turf) may be used if there is standing water or during thunder or lightning.
The DPW checks the fields daily, and a message is updated after 3pm, weekdays when there is new information. No field may be used if there is standing water, and no unauthorized maintenance work may be done. Field decisions are final and may not be superseded by other officials. On weekends and holidays, decisions are made by League Officials. High school and middle school athletic decisions are made by the DPW and the high school athletic director, and those decisions may differ from the community decisions made later in the afternoon.
