Members of the general public are invited to attend this year's String Festival for students or teachers of string instruments who reside in Needham. The festival is designed to give students an opportunity to perform in front of an audience of family, friends, and others, and to foster community. Needham Concert Society will also be sponsoring a Piano Festival for students in April. For registration information, visit the organization’s website. These programs are supported in part by a grant from the Needham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Town of Needham and the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
