Join TCTC owner Danielle Beaudette as she discusses her travel experiences in the tropical tea lands of Sri Lanka and India. In this presentation, you will learn about the tea leaf from harvest to production, as well as the amazing people who cultivate the leaf. Included are Danielle’s personal experiences with the growers and people of these countries, as well as picturesque views of their landscape. Throughout the presentation you will have the opportunity to sip teas harvested directly from these tea estates. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Needham Public Library.

Pre-School Palooza for children ages 3-6 years old will promote Kindergarten readiness and set a foundation for a future of strong reading while developing fine motor skills. Children who are ready to do so may attend independently. Caregivers are still welcome to attend. Adults who choose not to attend the program, must remain inside the library building during the storytime. Each session will feature a different theme using picture books, music and movement and a craft activity.
