The Town of Needham, acting thru its Town Manager and Permanent Public Building Committee, invites bids ONLY from Town of Needham Pre-Qualified General Contractors and Sub-Contractor firms for the Emery Grover Building Renovation Project in Needham, except for Elevator subcontractors. Bidders can submit bids for this project in the following categories of work:
Masonry Work; Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron; Waterproofing, Damp-proofing, Caulking; Roofing and Flashing; Glass and Glazing; Tile; Acoustical Tile; Resilient Floors; Painting; Elevators; Fire Protection Sprinkler System; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical Work.
Non-prequalified bidders can submit bids for the Elevators category of work only.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on September 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at 1330 Highland Ave., Needham, MA. Bidders encouraged to attend.
Scope of work includes complete renovation of building interior and exterior. Estimated Construction Cost: $16,300,000. DCAM Certification required.
Sub-Contractor bids are due on 9/21/2022 and General Contractor Bids are due on 10/06/2022 at the Public Services Administration Building, 1st Floor, 500 Dedham Ave, Needham, MA 02492 until the bid deadlines @ 2:00PM and will be opened in the Charles River Room immediately afterward. Bids are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A to J as amended to date. Wages are subject to minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26-27H as amended. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
