Supporting the Social and Emotional Health of Our Kids

Tom Denton LICSW, the Director of Guidance for the Needham Public Schools, will describe how the Guidance Department supports the social and emotional development of students, focusing on the additional vulnerabilities that students face this year and what the schools and parents can do to understand and help our students with them.

SEPAC welcomes Joanne Allen-Willoughby, PhD (METCO Director), Jamie Singalais (Director of English Language Learner Education/Teacher), and Sinceree Diego (Chairperson of the Needham METCO Parent Council) to discuss the intersectionality of Special Education, METCO, and ELL and share details about how their programs support families in Needham Public Schools.
