Plans & Programs
The Town of Needham offers a variety of employee benefit plans and programs. Questions regarding benefits can be directed to the Human Resources Department by contacting the Human Resources Department or calling 781-455-7500.
Coverage Dates
- Coverage for eligible employees may start:
- Any date beginning on the first day of employment with the Town of Needham, but no later than 30 days from hire.
- The day of a qualifying event (with submission of proof of event)
- Annual on July 1st if materials submitted during open enrollment
- Coverage ends
- The day of a qualifying event (with submission of proof of event)
- Approximately one month from the date you terminate employment from the Town of Needham (for benefits paid one month in advance of coverage)
- Upon stoppage of the paying of plan premiums.
